351307 Aza – Senior – Female dog, spayed, born approx. 2015, shoulder height approx. 60 cm, weight approx. 20 kg, at Belchatow animal shelter since 05.05.2026. Aza has a sad background: her former owners were drug addicts who left Aza to fend for herself. She was often forgotten, received no food, and lived outdoors. She arrived at the shelter severely emaciated, nothing but skin and bones. The sweet old lady shows us a very friendly and affectionate nature; she loves being petted, enjoys the attention and being together with us. Despite her age, she is active, interested, and watches her surroundings with curiosity. Her caretaker says, "that Aza has not given up her affection and trust in people, and has a gentle, very loving way with all people. Aza could probably live in a house with children." Unfortunately, Aza does not get along with other dogs and should be kept as a single dog. Aza should not spend her senior years alone in a kennel, but in a loving home, with a warm bed, enjoying pleasant walks and receiving the affection she has deserved after all these years. A large, old female dog will not get a chance here in Poland. Many dogs share this fate here: old, neglected, sick, simply become a nuisance – they are given up and forgotten. We keep our fingers crossed for Aza, that in her old days she will be seen once more and not forgotten. Walking on a leash presents no problems for her. (07/2026 Mi/MS)

351307 Aza – Seniorin – Hündin, kastriert, geboren ca. 2015, Schulterhöhe ca. 60 cm, Gewicht ca. 20kg, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 05.05.2026. Aza hat eine traurige Vorgeschichte: Ihre ehemaligen Besitzer waren drogenabhängig, überließen Aza sich selbst, sie wurde oft vergessen, bekam kein Futter und lebte draußen. Sie kam stark abgemagert ins Tierheim, nur Haut und Knochen. Die liebe Hundeomi zeigt sich uns gegenüber sehr freundlich und zugewandt, sie lässt sich gerne streicheln, genießt die Zuwendung und das Beisammensein mit uns. Trotz ihres Alters ist sie aktiv, interessiert und beobachtet neugierig die Umgebung. Ihre Pflegerin erzählt "dass Aza ihre Zuneigung und ihr Vertrauen in die Menschen nicht aufgegeben hat und einen sanften, sehr lieben Umgang mit allen Menschen hat. Aza könnte wohl in einem Haus mit Kindern leben. " Mit anderen Hunden verträgt sich Aza leider nicht, sie sollte als Einzelhund gehalten werden. Aza soll ihre Seniorenjahre nicht alleine in einem Zwinger leben, sondern in einem liebevollen Zuhause, in einem warmen Körbchen, schöne Spaziergängen machen und noch einmal die Zuneigung bekommen, die sie nach all den Jahren verdient hat. Eine große, alte Hündin, hier in Polen wird sie keine Chance bekommen. Dieses Schicksal teilen sich hier so viele Hunde, alt, vernachlässigt, krank, einfach lästig geworden - sie werden aufgegeben, vergessen. Wir drücken Aza ganz fest die Daumen, dass sie auf ihre alten Tage noch einmal gesehen und nicht vergessen wird. Die Leine bereitet ihr keine Probleme. (07/2026 Mi/MS)
