After five and a half years in a loving home, changing family circumstances mean Babu now needs a calmer environment where he can feel safe and thrive. He is a gentle, affectionate podenco who forms deep bonds with his people. “Babu is a lovely boy who shows real loyalty and affection once he gets to know you. In the home he settles very quickly and enjoys being close to his people. His favourite place for sleeping and downtime is his crate, where he happily watches the world go by. He can be a little unsure at times, but with consistency and a calm approach he really thrives and settles into a routine. Babu loves being fussed, especially around his neck and ears, and will often come and gently rest his head in your lap just to be close. On a day-to-day basis he is wonderful company and really just wants to feel safe, loved and part of the home.” In the right home, Babu is a calm and rewarding companion. He enjoys quiet walks, loves spending time with his people and settles well into a routine. He can find busy or unpredictable environments overwhelming and is happiest with consistency, space and calm handling. Babu has made excellent progress with training and continues to improve around other dogs when on lead.
