Bado sa našiel na ulici Pod horou 15, Košice – Myslava. Bado je milý, pokojný a nenáročný psík, ktorý síce nevidí, no svet okolo seba zvláda veľmi dobre. Mohli by sme povedať, že Bado „vidí srdcom“ – orientuje sa podľa človeka, dôveruje mu a nechá sa ním viesť. Na vodítku pekne nasleduje svojho človeka a čaká, kam ho zavedie. Slepota mu v bežnom fungovaní nerobí výrazný problém, potrebuje však pri sebe človeka, ktorý bude jeho očami a bezpečne ho prevedie miestami, ktoré sám nepozná. Bado má veľmi príjemnú a bezproblémovú povahu. Má rád ľudskú spoločnosť, pozornosť a blízkosť človeka. Užíva si prechádzky, no rovnako spokojný bude aj pri pokojnom leňošení po boku svojich ľudí. Manipulácia je úplne bezproblémová a hygienické návyky má celkom dobre zvládnuté. So psami aj fenkami vychádza bez problémov a z ich spoločnosti sa teší. Dobré skúsenosti má aj s deťmi – venčili ho a správal sa pri nich pokojne a bezproblémovo. Bado je vhodný aj pre prvopsíčkarov, mladších aj starších ľudí. Nevyžaduje náročný program ani množstvo aktivít, dôležitá je pre neho predovšetkým blízkosť človeka, pravidelné prechádzky a bezpečné prostredie. ZDRAVOTNÝ STAV: Bado je slepý na obe oči. Oftalmologické vyšetrenie potvrdilo obojstrannú degeneráciu a odlúčenie sietnice. Následne absolvoval aj kardiologické vyšetrenie, pri ktorom nebol zistený šelest ani porucha srdcového rytmu a ultrazvuk srdca nepreukázal rozšírenie ani zhrubnutie srdcových oddielov. Na základe výsledkov nebola potrebná kardiologická liečba. Napriek strate zraku je Bado spokojný psík a na život bez videnia sa veľmi pekne prispôsobil. Pri človeku sa cíti bezpečne, nasleduje ho a necháva sa ním viesť. Bado si hľadá domov v byte alebo v rodinnom dome s úplným prístupom dovnútra. Potrebuje bezpečné prostredie a predovšetkým človeka, ktorému bude môcť dôverovať a ktorý ho bude životom sprevádzať. Za trochu pomoci a vedenia dostane jeho rodina veľmi milého psíka, ktorý si najviac zo všetkého užíva obyčajnú blízkosť svojho človeka.
