I am Baghira … and originally came from a shelter. Now I am looking for a fresh start with experienced people. Would you like to know more about me? I am active, strong, and have a lively temperament. I like to test whether you mean business, and can sometimes appear gruff and distant in the process. Bonding with me takes time – with clear, secure leadership, I will be a very reliable partner. I am smart, trainable, and know the basic commands; with my dog trainer, I walk well on a leash and continue to learn. I love fetch games and enjoy swimming for my life. Generally, I am friendly towards other dogs. We need to practice being alone after the adjustment period; under stress, I tend to bark. I have a pancreatic insufficiency – the animal shelter practice provides lifelong medication and further treatment free of charge – so I am currently doing very well. I wish for … dog-experienced, confident people who consistently lead me, appropriately challenge me, and also teach me to be at peace. A quieter environment instead of a city center would suit me well; a house with a securely fenced yard would be a dream. Children should not live in the household. With a good connection, I could fit as a second dog for a similarly active female dog. Dog training classes are explicitly recommended. Will I fit with you? Ich bin Baghira … und stamme ursprünglich aus einer Verwahrung. Jetzt suche ich einen Neustart bei erfahrenen Menschen. Möchtest du mehr über mich erfahren? Ich bin aktiv, kräftig und temperamentvoll. Ich teste gern, ob man es ernst meint, und kann dabei auch mal rüpelig und distanzlos wirken. Bindung braucht bei mir Zeit – mit klarer, sicherer Führung werde ich ein sehr verlässlicher Partner. Ich bin schlau, motivierbar und kenne die Grundkommandos; bei meiner Gassigeherin laufe ich gut an der Leine und lerne stetig dazu. Ich liebe Futtersuchspiele und bade für mein Leben gern. Anderen Hunden gegenüber zeige ich mich meist freundlich. Alleinbleiben müssen wir nach der Eingewöhnung üben; bei Überforderung neige ich zum Bellen. Ich habe eine Pankreasinsuffizienz – die Tierheim-Praxis stellt dazu lebenslange Medikation und Weiterbehandlung kostenlos – damit komme ich aktuell sehr gut zurecht. Ich wünsche mir … hundeerfahrene, souveräne Menschen, die mich konsequent führen, sinnvoll auslasten und mir auch Ruhe beibringen. Ein ruhigeres Umfeld statt Innenstadt tut mir gut; ein Haus mit sicher eingezäuntem Garten wäre ein Traum. Kinder sollten nicht im Haushalt leben.
