Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rescued Souls e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bailey on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Bailey if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Bailey isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rescued Souls e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bailey and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Bailey

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Bailey, a friendly, lively, and playful puppy, is waiting for her forever home. She is approximately 4 months old (as of September 29, 2026). Bailey and her four siblings were discovered in a shaft near the Bulgarian border by a friend of our animal welfare organization. They were in a dire situation and would not have been able to free themselves. Fortunately, their plight was discovered in time. Although our shelter is already full, our animal welfare activist did not hesitate to bring Bailey and her siblings to safety. ❤️ For the first medical check-up, they went directly to the veterinarian. We were very relieved when it was confirmed that everything was fine with the little ones! 🍀❤️ Now, Bailey and her siblings can finally arrive at the shelter and recover from their ordeal. 🏠🐾 They are safe, lovingly cared for, and can now hopefully experience a carefree puppy life. 💕🐶 But Bailey dreams of more than just a place in the shelter. 🥺 She wants to have her own bed, cuddle with her humans, discover the world, and above all, know that she will be loved and protected forever. 🏡❤️ For Bailey, a new chapter is beginning. 🐶🌿 She wants to learn the basics of dog training, potty training, walking on a leash, and all the small and big adventures that a dog's life has to offer, together with her humans. 🎓🐾 We wish Bailey a loving family that will show her with patience, trust, and lots of love how beautiful a home can be. 🥰🏡💗 Maybe you are the person who Bailey can finally come to? 🐾❤️ Bailey is vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, not yet spayed or neutered, and has a veterinary check-up. She also has an EU pet passport. All our dogs travel with official Traces papers and a Paragraph 11 permit to Germany. Our dogs are also tested for Mediterranean diseases with a rapid test. The adoption fee is €520 plus €30 for the purchase of a safety harness. Note: When we classify our dogs by breed, we are guided solely by their external appearance and observable behavior (phenotype). This classification is made to the best of the association's knowledge and the participating veterinarians. However, these details do not necessarily correspond to the actual genetic makeup (genotype), as this can only be reliably determined by a DNA analysis. Furthermore, the behavioral and character description of the respective animal is based on careful observations by the animal welfare activists on site or by the respective foster families. It should be noted that these assessments are based solely on the current local conditions in the shelters or foster homes. It is important to understand that the little furball will change after a successful

About Bailey

What life with Bailey looks like

Bailey is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Rescued Souls e.V. in Pfinztal.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.
