How do I contact the shelter about Bambi?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. El Refugio Escuela Marlene handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bambi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Bambi if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — El Refugio Escuela Marlene will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Bambi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Bambi isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with El Refugio Escuela Marlene early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bambi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Bambi

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Bambi is a beautiful PDAE puppy whose story begins in a very unfair way... but deserves a happy ending. ❤️ This is Bambi's story. We know she won't be short of opportunities with those adorable eyes! We estimate she was born around June 2026. Bambi's life didn't start like any other puppy's. She was born on a farm, where her mother unfortunately died from mastitis. Being so tiny, she was left too soon without the care and protection she needed. Luckily, when she was just a few days old, she came into the hands of a friend and collaborator of the shelter, who has cared for her, pampered her, and brought her up to this day. And now we can say that Bambi has grown and become what she is: a real whirlwind of vitality and energy 💫 She is a cheerful, playful, curious puppy with a huge desire to discover the world. She has all the energy, the ideas, and the innocence typical of her age... and we are sure she has a lot of love to give. 🐾💕 Now she only needs the most important thing: a family that will teach her how beautiful it is to have a home forever. Bambi is looking for a responsible family who wants to accompany her as she grows, educate her with patience, and above all, love her for her entire life. ❤️ Bambi is given up with a microchip, passport, up-to-date vaccinations, and tests for Erlichia, Anaplasma, Filaria, and Leishmania. She is also given up with a commitment to sterilization.

About Bambi

What life with Bambi looks like

Bambi is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at El Refugio Escuela Marlene in Seville.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.
