Baram

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Name: Baram Gender: Female Breed: mixed breed Born: ca. 06.05.2025 Weight: ca. 15.2 kg neutered & vaccinated: Yes Baram is a young female dog with a particularly gentle and cautious soul. Her past was far from easy: as a puppy, she spent her first months confined in a dark wooden box in the backyard of a grim property, where several dogs lived under terrible conditions. She was rescued together with seven other dogs by WEACT. Perhaps it is precisely this past that makes Baram cautious around people. When approached, she initially reacts shyly and reservedly. But with patience, gentle movements, and calmness, she begins to understand that nothing bad will happen to her. She needs people who do not pressure her but give her the time to build trust at her own pace. In contrast, Baram is very social and friendly with other dogs. She loves her doggy friends, plays with them, and looks to them for guidance. A confident only dog could therefore help her gain more security, but it is not a must. Despite her insecurity, Baram carries a wonderful curiosity within her. She discovers the world step by step and shows more and more of her loving nature. Especially typical of a puppy, she loves toys, treats, and the company of her doggy buddies. Baram is house-trained, but she still doesn't like going in the car and will need gentle training to get used to it. Walks are also important for her, so she can get used to new impressions and develop self-confidence. For Baram, we wish for a quiet, loving home with patient people with a gentle nature. People who understand that trust grows and that the most beautiful bonds often develop quietly. Baram is like a gentle spring breeze – cautious, delicate, and beautiful. With the right family, she will gradually blossom and show what a wonderful heart she has inside. 💛🌸🐶 Images & Videos of Baram:

About Baram

What life with Baram looks like

Baram is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at German Hands meet Korean Paws e.V. in Ebstorf.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Baram, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Baram?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. German Hands meet Korean Paws e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Baram on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Baram if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — German Hands meet Korean Paws e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Baram already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Baram isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with German Hands meet Korean Paws e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Baram and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
