Beat was purchased as a puppy by a young couple from a breeder in Switzerland. The couple is now going separate ways and can no longer meet Beat’s needs. Since he had to stay alone at home daily during and after their separation, he was completely under-stimulated. Now, he is waiting at the foster home Grisette in the Jura for a new home. Beat is a friendly, open, and active companion. Although he is still very young, he can sometimes be rather boisterous with people. He needs patient, dog-experienced people who are familiar with his breed and are aware that he still has much to learn and are willing to go on this journey with him. Beat must be supported according to his breed but not over-stimulated. He cannot stay alone at home yet, and the loneliness must be built up gradually. Small children should be discussed beforehand, as Beat still needs to learn how to properly channel and control his energy. Beat is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be rehomed in cooperation with the Tierschutzbund Basel Regional (with a prior visit by the future home). Beat wurde von einem jungen Paar als Welpe in einer Schweizer Zucht gekauft. Das Paar geht mittlerweile getrennte Wege und sie können auf die Bedürfnisse von Beat nicht mehr eingehen. Weil er während und nach der Trennung täglich alleine zuhause bleiben musste, war er komplett unterfordert. Nun wartet er auf der Pflegestelle Grisette im Jura auf ein neues Zuhause. Beat ist ein freundlicher, aufgeschlossener und aktiver Weggefährte. Da er noch sehr jung ist, kann er Menschen gegenüber manchmal noch ziemlich ungestüm sein. Er braucht geduldige, hundeerfahrene Menschen, die sich mit seiner Rasse auskennen und die sich bewusst sind, dass er noch viel lernen muss und auch bereit sind, mit ihm diesen Weg zu gehen. Beat muss seiner Rasse entsprechend gefördert, aber nich überfordert werden. Er kann noch nicht alleine zuhause bleiben, das Alleinsein muss langsam aufgebaut werden. Kleinkinder müsste man vorab abklären, da Beat erst noch lernen muss, seine Energie richtig zu kanalisieren und zu kontrollieren.
