Bella

European Shorthair · Female · Young · 1 year

Bella is a one-year-old indoor cat. She grew up in a large family with 5 children, so she is used to a lot of activity. However, too much stress for little Bella caused her to fight a lot with the other house cat. Here at Animal's Faith Foundation, Bella behaves well in the cat group. And it's a group of more than 10 cats. So it seems that Bella could be placed with a cat, but of course it doesn't have to be. Little Bella comes to give kisses, and explores her new home cautiously and curiously. Bella doesn't like to be picked up, she can climb and jump everywhere herself. She is litter trained and doesn't seem picky about food, just an easy cat. Breed: European Shorthair Sex: Female - spayed Birth date: May 2025 Check-up: Vaccinated, chipped, dewormed Can be with children: Yes, from about 10 years Can be with dogs: Unknown Can be with cats: Yes, if supervised Can't adopt Bella, but do you want to support her? About Bella

What life with Bella looks like

Bella is a large young adult european shorthair cat waiting at Stichting Animals Faith in Netherlands.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bella, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bella?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Stichting Animals Faith handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bella on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bella if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Stichting Animals Faith will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bella already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bella isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Stichting Animals Faith early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bella and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
