adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Belli has found her people! Her story: The little, pretty Belli was brought to the public shelter in Bistrita by the dog catchers. Currently, she is unfortunately still very cautious and needs time to trust people. But she is making daily progress and also enjoys the attention of people. We wish for the sweet Belli an experienced and calm home. People who can give her a lot of time and the necessary empathy. At the moment, she still cannot be touched, which is why it would be very helpful if she had an enclosed garden to give her the space she needs. After the adjustment phase, working with a positively working dog training class can also be beneficial. This can help Bellis build her self-confidence and strengthen the bond between female dog and human. Belli is approximately 3 years old and does not want to spend her life in the shelter. The shelter routine is stressful. And especially for insecure dogs like Belli, it can lead to them withdrawing even more. Therefore, we would also be very grateful for an experienced foster home. Compatibility with other dogs and cats has not yet been tested. The sweet mouse is approximately 45-50 cm in size and weighs around 17 kg. Her pretty fur pattern and the black button nose make Belli a particularly pretty and charming little dog. Belli travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with a valid EU pet passport. After a positive Schenke, do you give the pretty Belli your heart and a loving home? Many thanks to Teddy Farms! Thanks to you, Belli now has a name and an identity. As of: 30.12.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank an Teddy Farms! Stand: 30.12.2025

About Belli

What life with Belli looks like

Belli is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Belli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Belli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Belli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Belli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Belli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Belli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Belli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
