Ben

German Shepherd · Male · Senior · 10 years

Ben is a 10-year-old German Shepherd (born 09.01.2016) who is looking for a loving home. Unfortunately, we know very little about his past. However, Ben has already had a home and is familiar with indoor living. He is friendly, open-minded, and very people-oriented when interacting with humans. He enjoys attention and is open to meeting new people. Despite his age, Ben is still fit and active. He can sometimes be a bit boisterous, which is why future owners should be able to physically guide him. At the same time, he enjoys quiet moments and the closeness of his caregivers. We wish for Ben a home where he can spend his golden years in security. People with dog experience, especially with German Shepherds, would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement if the willingness to accommodate his needs is present. Ben has many years behind him and now deserves the chance to find his own home again. Those who give him time, affection, and a permanent place in life will find a loyal companion in him. Weitere Infos : Sammy´s Farm in 29690 Grethem Kontakt : E-mail: Öffnet in neuem Fenster. Frequently asked

Adopting Ben, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ben?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutz Celle handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ben on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ben if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierschutz Celle what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Ben already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierschutz Celle directly what is included and what Ben still needs.
What happens if Ben isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutz Celle early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ben and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
