Ben und Fine

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 5 months

Ben and Fine are also waiting on Crete for their big journey to their own home. About them it is reported: The Dream Pair: Ben & Fiene are looking for their home. The two sweet siblings Ben and Fiene were born in mid-June 2026 and are already vaccinated. Although they are siblings, the two have wonderfully different personalities: Ben (the little adventurer): Ben is incredibly curious, has a large exploration radius, and simply has to investigate everything! He is extremely cuddly, yet in a very charming way cheeky and absolutely uncomplicated: He knows dogs, gets along great with other animals, and has no fear of touching even large cats. Fiene (the cozy one who enjoys life): Compared to her brother, Fiene is a rather calm cat. She loves her familiar surroundings, feels completely at ease there, and does not need the big wide world at all. She is also very cuddly and enjoys closeness to her people to the fullest. The two complement each other perfectly and bring plenty of life, love, and cuddle sessions into their new home (Fiene colorful/Ben red-and-white).

About Ben und Fine

What life with Ben und Fine looks like

Ben und Fine is a large puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Leise-Pfoten e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ben und Fine, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ben und Fine?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Leise-Pfoten e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ben und Fine on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ben und Fine if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Leise-Pfoten e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Ben und Fine already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ben und Fine isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Leise-Pfoten e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ben und Fine and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
