Benny, a beautiful 5-year-old long-haired dachshund, came to our shelter with his brother and sister after their owner could no longer care for them due to difficult personal circumstances. A decision that undoubtedly caused immense pain, but one made out of love for her dogs, in the hope they would still have a warm future. We can only respect this. For the three dogs, the transition to the shelter was naturally very difficult. Suddenly everything was different. But slowly we see Benny blossom again, and what a lovely boy he is! Benny is a calm, gentle, and incredibly affectionate dog. He is social with people and other dogs and enjoys cuddles intensely. If you sit down, it doesn't take long before he snuggles up to you. He doesn't need to be in the spotlight; he's just happy when he can be close to his humans. Benny is 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, has a European passport, and was treated for ticks and fleas. He's ready to start his new life. For Benny we are looking for a family that has time for him and really lets him be part of daily life. Due to his handy size, he is an ideal dog to take everywhere. Maak kennis met Benny . Soms is liefde ook… loslaten. Benny, een prachtige langharige teckel van 5 jaar, kwam samen met zijn broertje en zusje in ons asiel terecht nadat hun baasje door moeilijke persoonlijke omstandigheden niet langer voor hen kon zorgen. Een beslissing die ongetwijfeld ontzettend veel pijn deed, maar die ze nam uit liefde voor haar hondjes, in de hoop dat ze alsnog een warme toekomst zouden krijgen. Daar kunnen we alleen maar respect voor hebben. Voor de drie hondjes was de overstap naar het asiel natuurlijk erg moeilijk. Plots was alles anders. Maar stilaan zien we Benny weer openbloeien, en wat een heerlijk kereltje is hij! Benny is een rustige, zachtaardige en ontzettend aanhankelijke hond. Hij is sociaal met mensen én met andere honden en geniet intens van knuffels. Ga je ergens zitten, dan duurt het niet lang voor hij zich gezellig tegen je aan vleit. Hij hoeft niet op de voorgrond te staan; hij is gewoon gelukkig als hij dicht bij zijn mensen mag zijn. Benny is 5 jaar oud, gecastreerd, gevaccineerd, gechipt, beschikt over een Europees paspoort en werd behandeld tegen teken en vlooien. Hij is helemaal klaar om zijn nieuwe leven te beginnen. Voor Benny zoeken we een gezin dat tijd voor hem heeft en hem echt laat deel uitmaken van het dagelijks leven. Door zijn handige formaat is hij een ideaal hondje om overal mee naartoe te nemen.
