Foster home / permanent home wanted for BENTLEY! The 10-year-old senior Cane Corso BENTLEY has probably already passed his prime—but as so often happens, the best is yet to come. And it’s precisely this “best” that he shouldn’t have to spend in an animal shelter. Currently, BENTLEY is living at the Düsseldorf Animal Shelter. There, he shows himself to be brave and full of energy, happily greets familiar people, and often comments on new things—in typical Cane Corso fashion—with a little “whimper.” Yet he remains calm and composed—because deep down, he simply adores grown-ups and thoroughly enjoys their company. What he lacks in his daily life at the shelter, however, is the individual time and attention that a senior dog like him so desperately deserves. That’s why we’re looking for people who would like to give BENTLEY a loving home once again: A ground-floor home, ideally with a garden; experience handling older dogs is an advantage; no other animals in the household (a quiet, friendly female dog might be possible, depending on mutual affinity); no children under 14 years old; preferably located in the Düsseldorf/Cologne/Rhein-Ruhr area. BENTLEY is currently receiving comprehensive veterinary care. He’s undergoing a thorough examination at the Düsseldorf Animal Shelter to identify any age-related health issues. The shelter will cover the costs of treatment throughout his entire life—details about this arrangement will, of course, be discussed personally. Der 10-jährige Cane Corso Senior BENTLEY hat seine fittesten Zeiten vermutlich schon hinter sich – doch wie so oft gilt: Das Beste kommt zum Schluss. Und genau dieses „Beste“ sollte er nicht im Tierheim verbringen müssen. Aktuell lebt BENTLEY im Tierheim Düsseldorf. Dort zeigt er sich tapfer und rüstig, freut sich über vertraute Menschen und kommentiert Neues gerne einmal in typischer Cane-Corso-Manier mit einem kleinen „Moppern“. Dabei bleibt es aber auch – denn insgeheim findet er erwachsene Menschen einfach großartig und genießt ihre Nähe sehr. Was ihm im Tierheimalltag jedoch fehlt, ist die individuelle Zeit und Zuwendung, die ein Senior wie er so sehr verdient. Deshalb suchen wir Menschen, die BENTLEY noch einmal ein liebevolles Zuhause schenken möchten: Ebenerdiges Zuhause, idealerweise mit Garten Erfahrung im Umgang mit älteren Hunden von Vorteil Keine weiteren Tiere im Haushalt (eine ruhige, freundliche Hündin nach Sympathie ggf. möglich) Keine Kinder unter 14 Jahren Idealerweise im Raum Düsseldorf / Köln / Rhein-Ruhr BENTLEY wird aktuell tierärztlich umfassend betreut. Er wird im Tierheim Düsseldorf gründlich untersucht, um mögliche altersbedingte Beschwerden zu erkennen. Die Behandlungskosten hierfür werden vom Tierheim bis an sein Lebensende übernommen – Details dazu besprechen wir selbstverständlich persönlich.
