Ihre Geschichte: 37412 Herzberg. Berna ist gut in ihrer Pflegefamilie angekommen. Sie findet sich im vorhandenen Hunde Rudel super zurecht. Sie ist ein aufgewecktes, hellwaches Hundemädchen von der Rasse her ein Deutsch-Drahthaar, hat aber bisher keinerlei Jagdtrieb. Berna achtet sehr auf ihre Menschen und liebt es zu kuscheln. Sie hat viel nachzuholen und möchte immer dabei sein. Sie ist absolut stubenrein von Beginn an. Sie kennt das Leben im Haus, trotz ihres Handicaps sind wenige Treppen kein Problem. Jedoch wäre ein ebenerdiges zu Hause wünschenswert. Zu fremden Menschen ist sie freundlich, aufgeschlossen und zugänglich. Bei Hundebegegnungen zeigt sie sich vorsichtig bis desinteressiert. Da sie körperlich nicht sehr stark ausgelastet werden kann machen ihr Schnüffeln und Suchspiele besonders viel Spaß. Durch den alten Bruch des rechten Beines kann sie keine längeren Spaziergänge machen. Kurze Strecken sind aber gut möglich. Ein Garten im neuen zu Hause würden Berna sicher auch reichen. Sie liegt gerne in der Sonne und beobachtet alles um sie herum. Für Berna wäre eine Familie mit Kindern nicht geeignet, das würde sie überfordern. Ein ruhiges zu Hause auf dem Land, gerne auch bei älteren Menschen wäre toll. Ein netter Hundekumpel könnte auch im neuen zu Hause sein, dabei ist es egal ob Rüde oder Hündin. Aktuell beginnt Berna eine Physiotherapie, damit sie noch besser mit ihrem rechten Bein zurechtkommt. Sie liebt es übrigens auch schwimmen zu gehen! Berna ist lt. Pass 9,5 Jahre alt, die Pflegefamilie glaubt jedoch dass sie um einiges jünger sein dürfte, sie ist 50 cm groß und wiegt ca. 20 kg. Aufgrund ihrer kupierten Rute darf sie nicht in die Schweiz und Österreich einreisen. In ihr neues Zuhause zieht die Hübsche kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht, sowie mit eigenem EU-Heimtierausweis.
