Biba und Bobo

European Shorthair · Unknown · Kitten · 3 months

Despair - no other word describes what the mother of Biba and Bobo must have felt. With her five kittens only a few days old, she sought shelter in a yard full of dogs, desperately trying to warm, hide, and somehow keep her babies alive. Fortunately, kind people noticed the small family and brought them to L.I.D.A., the large animal shelter in Olbia. The caregivers fought for each individual life - but only two of the five kittens made it. Today, the two are about three months old and are called Biba and Bobo. Biba is the sweet tricolor cat, delicate and curious. Bobo, her brother, has shiny black fur and that special look that immediately goes to your heart. They currently live together in a cage. They are waiting to finally have space to play, experience adventures, and discover the world - as every kitten deserves. The best thing would be if the two could move together to a loving home where they can experience their childhood and learn how beautiful the world is when you are loved by people. In October, Biba and Bobo are old enough to travel to Germany. They can easily live with cat-understanding children and are also wonderful for cat beginners. Later, they would like to enjoy outdoor time in a traffic-calmed environment and explore nature. Who has room in their heart and home for two little souls who are now looking for happiness after a difficult start? I look forward to your call or message - and Biba and Bobo too. The two will travel vaccinated, chipped, and tested for FIV and FeLV. They will also receive a parasite prophylaxis before departure. We mediate nationwide, provided you are willing to receive Biba and Bobo at one of the handover points along the transport route.

About Biba und Bobo

What life with Biba und Bobo looks like

Biba und Bobo is a large puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Biba und Bobo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Biba und Bobo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Biba und Bobo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Biba und Bobo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Biba und Bobo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Biba und Bobo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Biba und Bobo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
