Bino

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt now! Bino has found a home! His story: The two brothers Bino and Moritz are still so small and have already experienced so much suffering in their lives. Our dear Tudor found the two during a walk on a field. They were completely alone, without their mother, and severely underweight, on the brink of starvation. Tudor naturally reacted immediately and took the two into his care and brought them to the shelter. Here they are safe and receive sufficient food and the necessary first aid – but the shelter is not an appropriate place for them to grow up. That's why the two are looking for a loving forever family as soon as possible! Bino is a typical little puppy boy. With his cute floppy ears and his special fur color, he brings everyone's heart to a higher beat. If one had to describe him in three words, they would be: people-oriented, playful, and super cute. He is happy about any kind of attention and affection. He would love to play outside more, discover everything in his surroundings, and enjoy the sun. Unfortunately, there is not much time for this in the shelter's everyday life. Currently, he shares a run with other puppies and shows himself to be very social and compatible there. His behavior towards cats has not yet been tested. But Bino is still so young, so cats in the household – with the right introduction – should not be a problem. He is already looking forward to exploring the woods and meadows in the area with his new primary caregiver, perhaps going for a run or two, and enjoying cozy evenings on the sofa. He is currently about 3.5 months old and will grow to be medium-sized. His new family should also be aware that Bino does not yet know the life in a loving family. He still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and puberty is still ahead of him. Here, he needs people who can approach with lots of love and patience, and maybe even attend some positively working dog training classes with him and forgive him one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being alone are still foreign words to him. During puberty, he will certainly test boundaries and perhaps forget some things he has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Bino will definitely be a great lifelong companion. We hope so much that he can now experience the beautiful sides of life. Bino is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He brings an EU pet passport with him and can be adopted after a positive foster home experience. We would be very happy to have a foster home for the sweet man! Who will give him a loving forever home? Many thanks to Juliane M.! You gave Bino his name. As of: 23.05.

Vielen Dank an Juliane M.! Du hast Bino seinen Namen geschenkt. About Bino

What life with Bino looks like

Bino is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bino, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bino?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bino on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bino if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bino already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bino isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bino and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
