Ruby is housed at Swiss Ranch. We provide placement assistance for the Swiss Ranch Animal Shelter. The monthly care for Ruby costs on average 100,-CHF, for which we seek sponsors. For 2026, monthly sponsorship is covered by donations: One-time donations: 0,- CHF Total so far: 0,- CHF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Current Description May 2026: Ruby came to our care with another dog mother and her puppies. She belongs to the dogs that had to live under very poor conditions. It is likely that she was confined with her puppies in a house for a long time without sufficient food, affection, or care. Despite this difficult past, Ruby has not lost her friendly and loving nature. Today, she is finally safe and can experience that there are people who care for her and provide her with security. Ruby is a roughly 35 cm small female dog with a particularly affectionate nature. She is very friendly, attached, and people-oriented. It is immediately noticeable how much she enjoys the closeness and attention of humans. Despite everything she has experienced, she remains open and gentle. She also gets along well with other dogs. Originally, she came with Lüna and lives currently problem-free with Vuki and Zsuzsa. Ruby is a quiet, nice female dog who simply wants to be liked and longs for a safe place full of love. Ruby wishes for a loving home with people who meet her with patience, warmth, and understanding. She wants to finally experience what it is like to be loved and protected as a full-fledged family member. Since she gets along well with other dogs, she could also be easily rehomed to a friendly only-dog home. What is most important is that Ruby finds people who give her security and show her that her new life can be full of love and security. *Should more donations than specified be received, they will be used for the association's purposes. About Bitte spenden Sie hier

What life with Bitte spenden Sie hier looks like

Bitte spenden Sie hier is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. in Schnarup-Thumby.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bitte spenden Sie hier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bitte spenden Sie hier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bitte spenden Sie hier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bitte spenden Sie hier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bitte spenden Sie hier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bitte spenden Sie hier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bitte spenden Sie hier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
