Personality:Handsome Bobby has really been through it over the last few months, his owners health deteriorated so they were no longer able to care for him, and his sister became so poorly she unfortunately had to be put to sleep. Initially Bobby found the cattery environment a little overwhelming but once he didn’t have his sister to hide behind he has blossomed and is a completely different cat. He is now much more confident and social around people, often sat at the front of his unit waiting for staff and volunteers to greet him. Behaviour:Bobby has been under our vet for a little while but is lucky enough to now be spending time in a foster home where he settled straight away. He can often be found snoozing on his fosterers bed or in a sunny spot that he’s found. Despite being an older man, Bobby does enjoy playing with a variety of toys, both with his fosterer and on his own. He loves being groomed daily to maintain his good looks. Please note, successful applicants will be able to meet Bobby in his foster home in the Park Gate area, with a member of the cattery team. Housing:Bobby will need a home with outside access to a private garden. He cannot be homed in the SO20 area of the Test Valley. Children/pets:Bobby will need to be an only pet in an adult only home. He is sensitive to noises so would benefit from a calm and quiet home with a single person or a couple. Vet history:Bobby is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Bobby has had several blood tests taken whilst in our care. These show his liver enzymes are slightly elevated. We have carried out further testing which have showed no concerns and no underlying issues at this time. You vet may, or may not, decide to continue with future blood tests. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated. Additional information:All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
