Adopt Bojo -. ein Husky Bub

Husky · Male · Adult · 4 years

For those interested, please come for an introductory meeting. Who has a big heart and the mind for these beautiful friendly male dogs who suffer so much in the animal shelter? Poor BOJO was likely an impulsive purchase by his owner, who then entrusted him to the care of the animal shelter. BOJO, born in April 2022, is a Husky-Mix male dog. Due to his breed, BOJO is naturally energetic and suffers greatly in the shelter, where he has been waiting for two years for his chance. After every walk, he vehemently resists returning to his pen. BOJO is very people-oriented and friendly and could also be rehomed into a family with children (aged 10 and above). He is simply occasionally overexcited and cannot gauge his size and strength. BOJO needs dog-experienced owners who can provide him with a routine, engage in plenty of exercise with him, but also allow him to relax. He is compatible with female dogs but male dogs need to be tested. BOJO definitely does not like cats. BOJO stands at a shoulder height of 62 cm and weighs approximately 38 kg. He is already ready to travel, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and dewormed, and has an EU pet passport with a small health check for travel diseases behind him.

About Bojo -. ein Husky Bub

What life with Bojo -. ein Husky Bub looks like

Bojo -. ein Husky Bub is a large adult husky dog waiting at Tierheim Hallein in Hallein.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇦🇹Adopting from Austria

Austrian shelters follow the federal Tierschutzgesetz framework: adopters sign a Schutzvertrag (protection contract) committing to the animal's welfare. Spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations are included; fees typically range €150–€350.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bojo -. ein Husky Bub, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bojo -. ein Husky Bub?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Hallein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bojo -. ein Husky Bub on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bojo -. ein Husky Bub if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Hallein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bojo -. ein Husky Bub already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bojo -. ein Husky Bub isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Hallein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bojo -. ein Husky Bub and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
