Her story: Bonnie is a very special young female cat with an exceptionally loving nature. She often behaves like a big sister: she grooms other cats, seeks their company, and ensures that every animal around her feels comfortable. Her social nature is impressive and makes her a true heart of any cat group. She is independent but at the same time very people-oriented. When she is stroked, she immediately purrs and shows her affection in a gentle way. Bonnie loves to play, especially when a human joins in. Then she becomes a little acrobat with jumps and lots of joy. After playing, she enjoys extended rest periods. Bonnie gets along very well with cats and dogs. She loves company and therefore should not be rehomed as a single cat. Due to her balanced and adaptable nature, she fits well into a family with children as well as with older people. Bonnie did not have an easy start in life. She lost partial vision in her left eye and had a Herpesvirus infection, which has now been fully treated. Today, she is healthy and stable. Her left eye is mostly blind and should be carefully cleaned with a warm cloth about once a week. This takes only a few minutes and Bonnie allows it calmly and without problems. She is not allowed to have free roam. She should enjoy the safety of a suitable apartment living situation. For her travel arrangements, Bonnie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She is FIV and FeLV negative. If you give Bonnie a home, you will receive an exceptionally social, loving, and gentle companion, despite her small handicap, who is full of life. Sie verhält sich oft wie eine große Schwester: Sie putzt andere Katzen, sucht ihre Nähe und sorgt dafür, dass sich jedes Tier in ihrer Umgebung wohlfühlt. Ihre soziale Art ist beeindruckend und macht sie zu einem echten Herzstück jeder Katzengruppe. Sie ist unabhängig, aber gleichzeitig sehr menschenbezogen. Wird sie gestreichelt, beginnt sie sofort zu schnurren und zeigt ihre Zuneigung auf sanfte Weise. Bonnie spielt gerne, besonders wenn ein Mensch mitmacht. Dann wird aus ihr eine kleine Akrobatin mit Sprüngen und viel Freude. Nach dem Spielen genießt sie ausgedehnte Ruhepausen. Mit Katzen und Hunden ist Bonnie sehr gut verträglich. Sie liebt Gesellschaft und wird daher nicht als Einzelkatze vermittelt. Durch ihr ausgeglichenes und anpassungsfähiges Wesen passt sie sowohl in eine Familie mit Kindern als auch zu älteren Menschen. Bonnie hatte keinen einfachen Start ins Leben. Sie verlor teilweise das Sehvermögen auf dem linken Auge und hatte eine Herpesvirus-Infektion, die inzwischen vollständig behandelt ist. Heute ist sie gesund und stabil. Ihr linkes Auge ist größtenteils blind und sollte etwa einmal pro Woche vorsichtig mit einem warmen Tuch gereinigt werden. Das dauert nur wenige Minuten und Bonnie lässt es ruhig und problemlos zu. Freigang ist für sie nicht vorgesehen. Sie soll die Sicherheit einer Wohnungshaltung genießen. Bei ihrer Ausreise ist Bonnie kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie ist negativ auf FIV und FeLV getestet. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 250 Euro kann Bonnie in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen.
