Felix is a about 4.5-year-old playful tomcat who never misses cuddle time with his trusted people. He loves being held in arms and enjoys the affection of loved ones. He is also very playful with other cats, which is why he is not rehomed in single housing. He gets along well with small dogs. Felix was found at a pond and taken in by an animal welfare worker and placed in a foster home. There he was cared for and treated and is now ready for his new home. Felix tested positive for FIV. However, this is no reason not to adopt him. FIV is a viral disease that can lead to a weakened immune system. Nevertheless, FIV positive cats can reach the same proud age as a cat that tested negative! The virus is only transferable to other cats, humans and other animals cannot get infected. Transmission could only occur if there are severe bite wounds between fellow animals. A negative and a positive tested cat could therefore easily live together in a household, share a bowl and cuddling spots, provided all parties are compatible. Free roaming is not an option for Felix. Felix is a charming cuddly snout full of love, whose fate has not been kind so far, but he has never given up. Felix ist ein ca. 4,5jähriger verspielter Kater, der dennoch nie auf Schmusestunden mit seinen vertrauten Menschen verzichtet. Er liebt es, auf dem Arm gehalten zu werden und genießt sehr die Zuneigung von geliebten Menschen. Er ist auch sehr verspielt mit anderen Katzen, weswegen er auch nicht in Einzelhaltung vermittelt wird. Er verträgt sich außerdem mit kleinen Hunden. Felix wurde an einem Teich gefunden und von einem Tierschützer mitgenommen und auf eine Pflegestelle gebracht. Dort wurde er versorgt und behandelt und ist heute bereit für sein neues Zuhause. Felix wurde positiv auf FIV getestet. Dies ist jedoch kein Grund, ihn nicht zu adoptieren. FIV ist eine Viruserkrankung, die zu einer Schwäche des Immunsystems führen kann. Dennoch können FIV positive Katzen ein gleiches stolzes Alter erreichen, wie eine negativ getestete Katze! Das Virus ist ausschließlich auf andere Katzen übertragbar, Menschen und andere Tiere können sich nicht anstecken. Eine Übertragung KÖNNTE auch nur dann erfolgen, wenn es zu starken Bisswunden zwischen Artgenossen kommt. Eine negativ und eine positiv getestete Katze könnten also problemlos in einem Haushalt leben, sich ein Näpfchen und Kuschelplätze teilen, sofern alle Parteien verträglich sind. Freigang kommt für Felix aber nicht in Frage. Felix ist ein zauberhaftes Kuschelschnütchen mit viel Liebe, mit dem es das Schicksal bis jetzt nicht so gut gemeint hat, aber er hat sich nie unterkriegen lassen. Er sucht ein Zuhause, wo er endlich ankommen kann. Wenn du dich angesprochen fühlst und dem kleinen Unglücksraben auf die Sonnenseite des Lebens verhelfen möchtest, melde dich gerne! Bei seiner Ausreise ist Felix, wie all unsere Katzen und Kater, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Auf FeLV wurde er negativ getestet und einen EU-Heimtierausweis packt er ebenfalls ins Köfferchen. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr kann er in sein neues Zuhause ziehen.
