Boo And Spook

Unknown Β· Adult Β· 5 years

Background: Meet Boo (white and ginger) and Spook (black), a bonded pair of rabbits. Boo and Spook have come into Raystede's care due to allergies in the household. They are ready to start looking for a new home together, they are closely bonded and cannot be separated. Boo can be a bit nervous and aloof until he gets to know you but ends up loving his people. Spook is a very friendly bunny and enjoys a fuss and groom. Home wanted: Boo and Spook are looking for an indoor/outdoor home with plenty of space and enrichment to keep them active and busy. Due to Spook's age, everything will need to be easily accessible. Their enclosure must be a minimum of 3m x 2m - please see our care guide for more detailed information regarding suitable enclosures. Children: Boo and Spook are used to an adult only home and could live with older teens/adults. Must not to be handled by visiting children in the home. Other animals: Bonded pair so must be rehomed together. Would likely prefer to stay as a bonded pair, rather than bonding with any additional rabbits. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Additional needs: They are both neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters will need to keep their yearly vaccinations up to date. They are currently living indoors but would also suit an outdoor shed/run style enclosure. If you are interested in adopting the lovely Boo and Spook, please complete an online application form.

About Boo And Spook

What life with Boo And Spook looks like

Boo And Spook is an adult rabbit waiting at Raystede Centre in Ringmer.

Rabbits are social animals β€” most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

Frequently asked

Adopting Boo And Spook, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Boo And Spook?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Raystede Centre handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Boo And Spook on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Boo And Spook if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Raystede Centre what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Boo And Spook already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask Raystede Centre directly what is included and what Boo And Spook still needs.
What happens if Boo And Spook isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Raystede Centre early rather than rehoming privately; they know Boo And Spook and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
