adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Bounty has found a new home! His story: Our handsome puppy Bounty is searching for a new home due to a separation. He has been in Germany since the end of September and has developed into an active and curious dog who loves playing, especially with balls. He enjoys running after them and catching them, but just as quickly he can retreat to a quiet corner. When it's time to cuddle, he always seeks the proximity of his people and enjoys a round of cuddles. Food is also a great passion for Bounty – he is always ready for a treat and never misses an opportunity when it comes to food. Despite his enthusiasm for play and food, he is very friendly and open with visitors. He is interested in strangers but remains relaxed and is happy to be petted. Bounty is a completely uncomplicated dog who has no problems being alone sometimes. He is calm and patient, waiting relaxed for the return of his family. So balanced as he is, he knows when it's time for action and when it's time for rest. Driving works problemlessly and he has also taken to the office life well. Currently, our cute boy is about 8 months old and 47 cm tall. He will therefore maintain a nice medium size to be able to participate in every activity. In his current pubertal phase, of course, he also has his 5 wild minutes and sometimes forgets what he has learned in a short time. But he is eager to learn and it's fun to teach him new commands. Bounty lives with two cats currently, which he recognizes as playmates. However, when it comes to eating, he and the cats must be separated, otherwise, nothing else will be left for them 🙂 Our Bounty is a lively dog who seeks the company of people and is ready to discover the world. Originally, Bounty came from the public shelter Baia Mare. He was found without a mother along with 5 siblings. Bounty is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He brings his EU pet passport with him and can be shocked into our sweet guy?. This is a young, adolescent dog.

Schockverliebt in unseren süßen Kerl? Stand: 17.12.2024

About Bounty

What life with Bounty looks like

Bounty is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bounty, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bounty?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bounty on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bounty if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bounty already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bounty isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bounty and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
