Adoption requirements Adoption process Request this animal now! Adoption requirements Adoption process Request this dog now! Bounty carries her name entirely deservedly, as she sweetens her environment: fluffy on the outside, full of energy and good humor inside. This approximately 6-year-old female dog immediately stands out with her typical "perpetual grin" - this friendly, almost mischievous smile that is known from Samoyeds and is simply contagious. When approaching her enclosure, Bounty is always very happy and hopes for a little attention. You get the feeling that she always has a small sunshine on her face, no matter how gray the daily routine is. At about 50 cm in height and around 18 kg, Bounty has a manageable, athletic size. She appears lively, playful and open, not shy, but brave and interested in everything happening around her. She already walks very well on a leash, is very cool during the rare walks possible here at the shelter, and orientates itself well with the person. Bounty seems like a dog that wants to experience something, wants to contribute and you can see that it would blossom in the right environment. She would definitely enjoy movement, shared activities and anything that challenges body and mind. Bounty is looking for people who want an active dog and enjoy spending time together. A structured daily routine, walks and mental stimulation would be very good for her. Small animals and cats should not live in her new home. Visually, Bounty strongly resembles a Samoyed mix - and brings many of the positive traits of these dogs. Samoyeds are known for their friendliness, their human orientation and their often cheerful appearance. They are considered intelligent, social and very present, with a special ability to spread good mood. At the same time, they should be taken seriously: they need clear structures, mental stimulation and close contact with their humans. Anyone who takes a Samoyed mix into their life gets no "side dog", but a real partner who wants to be part of life - with heart, humor and personality. Bounty came to us from Hida, a village near Fantanele. There, her life was in danger, she was unwanted. Here she is now safe, but a shelter cannot replace a home. Bounty is waiting for her people - someone who wants a little "Bounty effect" in daily life: more smiles, more movement and a lot of dog happiness. Bounty travels with a microchip, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. Of course, she has her EU pet passport with her. The

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Bounty

What life with Bounty looks like

Bounty is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bounty, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bounty?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bounty on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bounty if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bounty already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bounty isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bounty and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
