Information: In January and again in March 2026, some of our team members visited Elisa's asylum in Romania for another week, with which we worked closely together. We spend time socializing and getting to know the pups and adult dogs as well as possible. Only the dogs we expect will be happy in the Netherlands - and their adopters with the dog - will be mediated by us. Pup Bradley is definitely one of them! This guy comes from a litter of 5 puppies. Besides Bradley, there are Zorro, Buddy, Bibi and Dolly. In January these pups were still very open, free and human-oriented, as it should be. Bibi and Zorro were slightly more cocks the fronts, where Buddy, Bradley and Dolly behaved a bit more patiently - but certainly not really afraid. In March Bradley became more waiting/unsure. Puppies also go through fear phases, it may be that that plays a role. But the lack of contact with people is certainly also involved. In the shelter where about 300 dogs stay, with very little human force, there is simply no time to give the dogs regular attention. Such a shame when puppies staying longer in the asylum become more uncertain...

* voor een toelichting, lees Waarom wij voorzichtig zijn met het plaatsen van onze honden bij gezinnen met jonge kinderen alstublieft. Informatie: In januari en opnieuw in maart 2026 is een aantal van onze teamleden weer een week lang op bezoek geweest bij Elisa's asiel in Roemenië, waarmee we nauw samenwerken. We besteden tijd aan socialisatie en het zo goed mogelijk leren kennen van de pups en volwassen honden. Alleen de honden waarvan we verwachten dat ze gelukkig zullen worden in Nederland - en hun adoptanten met de hond - worden door ons bemiddeld. Pup Bradley hoort daar zeker bij! Dit ventje komt uit een nestje van 5 pups. Naast Bradley zijn er nog Zorro, Buddy, Bibi en Dolly. In januari waren deze pups zijn nog heel erg open, vrij en mensgericht, zoals het pups betaamt. Bibi en Zorro waren ietsjes meer haantjes de voorsten, waar Buddy, Bradley en Dolly zich wat meer afwachtend gedroegen - maar zeker niet echt bang. In maart is Bradley meer afwachtend/onzeker geworden.😞 Pups gaan ook door angstfases, het kan zijn dat dat een rol speelt. Maar het gebrek aan contact met mensen speelt ook zeker mee. In het asiel waar zo'n 300 honden verblijven is met maar heel weinig menskracht simpelweg geen tijd om de honden regelmatig aandacht te geven. Zo jammer wanneer pups die langer in het asiel verblijven, daardoor meer onzeker worden...
