Bramble

Beagle · Female · Adult · 4 years

16-08-26 Bramble is the sweetest little lady who has come to us from a home through no fault of her own, as her previous family felt that she needed more time and attention than they were able to provide. She is an incredibly affectionate girl who would quite happily live inside your skin if she could! Bramble absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than being the centre of attention and would prefer to be the only dog in the home so that she can soak up all the love and affection for herself. She does appear to show some signs of separation anxiety, so she will need a home that can continue to work with her on this and where somebody is around for much of the time while she settles in. Bramble could live with dog savvy teenagers 16+ who are sensible and won't mind having this sweet little shadow following them around. We are told that Bramble has lived with other dogs previously, but she can be very fussy with which dogs she gets along with and can become reactive to them. Though she can walk in quiet areas well, we will be muzzle training her as she may benefit from wearing a muzzle in busier areas. She cannot live with cats or small furries. As Bramble has previously lived in a home, she may already know the basics, although she may need a few reminders while she adjusts to her new surroundings. She walks well on a lead and would love an active home that can take her on plenty of adventures and allow her to enjoy all of her wonderful beagle sniffs. Bramble is an amazing little lady who is more than ready to find her forever home and become a much-loved member of the family once again.

About Bramble

What life with Bramble looks like

Bramble is a small adult beagle dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in Llanelli.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bramble, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bramble?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bramble on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bramble if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bramble already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bramble isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bramble and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
