Kan op een appartement: nee, een huis met een tuin Kan met kinderen: ja, 14+ Op een voor ons bekend adres werd een controle uitgevoerd door de dierenpolitie, waarbij wederom meerdere honden en twee katten in beslag werden genomen. Dit was al de derde keer, maar blijkbaar is het voor de betrokken mensen nog steeds niet duidelijk dat, wanneer er regelmatig dieren worden weggehaald en je een verbod krijgt, dit betekent dat je geen nieuwe dieren meer in huis moet en mag halen. De dieren werden opnieuw verwaarloosd en zaten in slechte huisvesting, waardoor het asiel voor hen een echte upgrade is. Alle dieren zijn inmiddels aan ons toegewezen en we hopen, net als bij de vorige twee groepen die werden weggehaald, ook voor deze lieverds een fijn nieuw thuis te vinden. Hij lijkt op een Beagle, maar Branco is een Servische Brak. Deze jongeman vindt het heerlijk om te rennen, maar hij geniet er net zo hard van om te knuffelen en samen in de zetel te liggen. Hij komt dan heerlijk tegen je aan liggen, ligt poot-in-hand en met zijn lange oren en wangen lijkt het vaak alsof hij is gesmolten. Hij is vaak nog onzeker en weet niet goed wat hij moet doen of wat er van hem wordt verwacht wanneer je iets van hem vraagt, wanneer er vreemde voorwerpen in zijn omgeving verschijnen of wanneer hij onbekende geluiden hoort. Spelen met knuffels vindt hij wel leuk. Hij pakt ze in zijn bek en rent er vervolgens trots mee rond. Eten is een grote hobby van Branco en daarmee kan hij ook zijn onzekerheid overwinnen. Hij snuffelt er dan ook graag op los in een snuffelkussen of wanneer we iets lekkers in verschillende voorwerpen verstoppen. Voor Branco zoeken we een rustig thuis zonder druk sociaal leven, bij mensen met een huis en tuin. Branco was hier in het asiel erg vocaal en kon veel blaffen, maar dat is ondertussen al sterk verminderd.
