Brigitte is a 10-year-old chocolate labrador who has been in "rescue" status. She has a very urgent need to find a family. This may be due to her age, a particular pathology, or discomfort at the shelter. Brigitte lost her owner on July 30th, after already losing her previous owner two years ago. She has gone through difficult times and deserves to find a loving, stable, and peaceful home where she can enjoy her final years in peace. She is a very affectionate dog who particularly enjoys human company. She is looking for a present, gentle, and patient family, ready to offer her a comfortable retirement bed, a lot of affection, walks adapted to her pace, and above all, a calm environment where she can finally settle down. She used to go for daily walks with her previous owner and deserves to continue enjoying these moments of happiness that make life so beautiful. She can live with other dogs, as long as they respect her personal space, resources, and need for tranquility, without constantly soliciting her. The compatibility will be tested at the shelter to ensure that the cohabitation goes well. For her safety, we are looking for a home without young children, as she is not always comfortable with them and their unpredictability. However, she is happy and even playful with older children.

Elle a ainsi traversé des épreuves difficiles et mérite aujourd’hui de retrouver un foyer aimant, stable et paisible, où elle pourra profiter sereinement de ses dernières années. C’est une chienne très affectueuse qui apprécie particulièrement la compagnie humaine. Elle recherche une famille présente, douce et patiente, prête à lui offrir un confortable panier de retraite, beaucoup d’affection, des promenades adaptées à son rythme et, surtout, un environnement calme où elle pourra enfin se poser. Elle avait l’habitude de se promener quotidiennement avec son précédent maître et mérite de continuer à profiter de ces petits moments de bonheur qui rendent la vie si belle. Elle peut vivre avec d’autres chiens, à condition que ceux-ci respectent son espace personnel, ses ressources et son besoin de tranquillité, sans la solliciter constamment. Les ententes seront à tester au refuge afin de s’assurer que la cohabitation se passe au mieux. Par prudence, nous recherchons pour elle un foyer sans enfants en bas âge, car elle n’est pas toujours à l’aise avec les tout-petits et leur imprévisibilité. En revanche, elle se montre joyeuse et même joueuse avec les enfants plus grands.
