His family brought him to the shelter themselves because their living circumstances had changed and they could no longer keep him. For Brook, this sudden change meant his familiar world came crashing down around him. At the shelter, he initially appeared very stressed, sad, and nervous. Fortunately, shortly afterward, he was allowed to move to a foster home, where he finally found peace again and could show his true nature. Brook is a typical Border Collie: intelligent, eager to learn, and full of energy. He loves being kept busy, learns new commands incredibly quickly, and closely bonds with his people. Anyone who provides him with clear structures and meaningful tasks will gain an attentive and reliable companion by their side. Recall commands, new rules, or short training sessions—Brook usually understands immediately what’s expected of him. At his foster home, Brook lives together with another male Border Collie. After a brief adjustment period, the two now get along extremely well. In general, Brook is social with other dogs, but like many young dogs, he sometimes needs a bit of guidance when interacting with fellow canines. Therefore, we can imagine him either as a second dog alongside a confident, active dog or as a single dog in the care of dedicated people. Brook is looking for a home with people who enjoy dog training, agility, nose work, or other shared activities. Seine Familie brachte ihn selbst ins Tierheim, da sich ihre Lebensumstände verändert hatten und sie ihn nicht länger behalten konnten. Für Brook brach damit seine vertraute Welt plötzlich zusammen. Im Tierheim zeigte er sich zunächst sehr gestresst, traurig und nervös. Glücklicherweise durfte er kurze Zeit später auf eine Pflegestelle ziehen, wo er endlich wieder zur Ruhe kommen und sein wahres Wesen zeigen konnte. Brook ist ein typischer Border Collie: intelligent, lernfreudig und voller Energie. Er liebt es, beschäftigt zu werden, lernt neue Kommandos unglaublich schnell und orientiert sich eng an seinen Menschen. Wer ihm klare Strukturen und sinnvolle Aufgaben bietet, bekommt einen aufmerksamen und zuverlässigen Begleiter an seine Seite.
