How do I contact the shelter about Bubbi?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bubbi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Bubbi if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Bubbi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Bubbi isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bubbi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

adoption requirements adoption process Inquire about this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process The handsome Bubbi has grown into a wonderful, affectionate young dog. With his open and cheerful nature, he wins over everyone’s heart in an instant. Unfortunately, the chemistry with the existing only dog—male dogs—isn’t working out right now, so a new solution must be found for him, much to our regret. Visually, Bubbi is truly special: his black-and-white coat pattern and great presence make him a real eye-catcher. He can’t be assigned to any specific breed—but that’s exactly what makes him so unique and charming. In temperament, Bubbi comes across as an outgoing and curious young male dog. He greatly enjoys cuddles, seeks closeness with his humans, has already built up a lot of trust, and needs plenty of reassurance. He is sweet and cuddly. Outside, he behaves impeccably—he walks well on the leash, knows basic commands, and rides comfortably in the car. At times, Bubbi can still be uncertain and cautious around unfamiliar people or dogs, but he takes good cues from his trusted people. Currently, Bubbi lives alongside cats and other dogs and generally gets along well with them. At the same time, it’s clear that he likes to have his trusted people all to himself and needs clear structure. We are looking for an experienced dog-owning home for Bubbi, ideally in a quiet, rural setting with a garden. Loving people who enjoy working with him, providing him security, and growing together with him would be perfect for him. Originally, Bubbi comes from Galati, Romania. He was found at just 10 weeks old, alongside his two siblings, Piccolo and Manolito, without their mother beside a busy Romanian road. Fortunately, all three were brought to safety by a private foster family, where they were lovingly cared for and also lived with cats. Following a positive... Stand: 06.05.2026

About Bubbi

What life with Bubbi looks like

Bubbi is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.
