Initially we only wanted to catch him, take care of the sterilization and return him to his colony. Upon arriving at the vet, we found out he had a wound. So Bučko stayed at the vet, despite his fear and loud protests. Unfortunately, the test later came back positive for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. The cat's condition worsened, he became apathetic, but we still didn't want to give up! We provided him with complete veterinary care, including a blood transfusion. It turned out we made the right decision. Although we heard from the vets several times about euthanasia. Within a few days, Bučko's condition improved, and he also got used to gentle touches from our hands. If it is possible and there is at least a small chance that they can recover from a difficult life as "nothingness", we offer it! Bučko is a friendly, very calm cat who just wants tenderness and full bowls of food. His talent in play is amazing. One really gets a good insight into how powerful the hunting instinct can be, actually incredible. Bučko is suitable for living in a home where there are already feline leukemia positive cats. Of course, he can also go to a new home as the only cat. If you cannot adopt him, you can help him by fostering. Due to the constant need to take in new homeless cats, you can also very much help by temporarily housing a cat. Temporary fostering is a form of voluntary work where you offer accommodation for any of our cats that have been waiting for a new home for a long time. The temporary foster parent ensures a safe environment, space, time and love, while we take care of all costs related to the animal. Including covering all veterinary costs.

Sprva smo ga želeli le odloviti, poskrbeti za kastracijo in vrniti nazaj na njegov kozolec. Že ob prihodu na veterino pa smo ugotovili, da ima poškodovano tačko. Tako je Bučko, navkljub svoji prestrašenosti in glasnem protestiranju, ostal na veterini. Žal je nato še test pokazal pozitivno na levkozo in mačji aids. Bučku se je stanje samo še poslabšalo, postal je apatičen, vendar vseeno nismo želeli obupati! Zagotovili smo mu popolno veterinarsko oskrbo, vključno s transfuzijo. Izkazalo se je, da smo se odločili pravilno. Čeprav smo s strani veterinarjev, večkrat slišali besede o evtanaziji. Že čez nekaj dni se je Bučku stanje izboljšalo, privadil se je tudi na nežne dotike naših rok. V kolikor je le mogoče in obstaja vsaj majhna možnost, da si opomorejo od težkega življenja, kot “nikogaršnji”, jim jo ponudimo! Bučko je prijazen, zelo umirjen muc, ki si želi le nežnosti in polnih posodic hrane. Njegova posebnost je neverjetna spretnost med igro. Človek dobi zares dober vpogled, kako je lahko nagon po lovu, pravzaprav neverjeten. Bučko je primeren za bivanje v domu, kjer že bivajo levkoza pozitivne muce. Seveda lahko v nov dom odide tudi kot edini muc. V kolikor ga ne morete posvojiti, mu lahko priskočite na pomoč z botrstvom . Zaradi nenehnih potreb po sprejemanju novih brezdomnih muc, nam lahko zelo pomagate tudi z začasno namestitvijo muc. Začasno skrbništvo je oblika prostovoljnega dela, kjer ponudite namestitev katerikoli izmed naših muc, ki že dlje časa čakajo na nov dom. Začasni skrbnik poskrbi za varno okolje, prostor, čas in ljubezen, mi pa poskrbimo za vse stroške v povezavi z varovanci. Vključno s kritjem vseh veterinarskih stroškov.
