Calvin and Klein were found together on a street where they were in danger of being hit by a car. As they didn’t have chips, they were taken in by Melampo, where they now wait for an appropriate home. The two young male dogs are beautiful, happy, and people-friendly dogs. They are playful and have an active character. Both enjoy the contact with the volunteer helpers very much. After they were vaccinated, they are now also getting to know the other dogs in the animal shelter little by little. Calvin and Klein are friendly and open towards people and show no fears in handling. Both travel comfortably in the car. As befits young dogs, they still need to learn the dog ABC – including walking on a leash and many other things of everyday life. Character-wise, they differ slightly: Calvin is the more active of the two and sets the tone, while Klein is calmer and especially gentle. Loving homes are sought for the two, in which they will be further accompanied with patience, time, and joy. The new owners should inform themselves about the breed “Malinois” to be able to assess whether this really fits into their everyday life. They are active young dogs who have only known life in the animal shelter so far. They want to be challenged and supported according to their nature. At the same time, patience is required, as they still have much to learn and need to get used to their new environment. With the right people by their side, they will surely develop well and bring a lot of joy.

Calvin und Klein wurden gemeinsam an einer Strasse gefunden, wo sie in Gefahr waren, überfahren zu werden. Da sie keinen Chip hatten, wurden sie von Melampo aufgenommen, wo sie nun auf ein geeignetes Zuhause warten. Die beiden jungen Rüden sind wunderschöne, fröhliche und menschenbezogene Hunde. Sie zeigen sich verspielt und haben einen aktiven Charakter. Beide geniessen den Kontakt zu den freiwilligen Helfern sehr. Nachdem sie geimpft wurden, dürfen sie nun auch nach und nach die anderen Hunde im Tierheim kennenlernen. Unterdessen gehen sie in der grossen Hundegruppe in den Auslauf. Calvin und Klein sind freundlich und offen gegenüber Menschen und zeigen im Umgang keine Ängste. Beide fahren problemlos im Auto mit. Wie es sich für junge Hunde gehört, müssen sie das Hunde-ABC jedoch noch lernen – darunter das Laufen an der Leine und viele weitere Dinge des Alltags. Charakterlich unterscheiden sie sich leicht: Calvin ist der aktivere der beiden und gibt eher den Ton an, während Klein ruhiger und besonders sanft ist. Für die beiden werden liebevolle Zuhause gesucht, in denen sie mit Geduld, Zeit und Freude weiter begleitet werden. Die neuen Besitzer sollten sich über die Rasse „Malinois“ informieren, um abschätzen zu können, ob diese wirklich in den eigenen Alltag passt. Es handelt sich um aktive Junghunde, die bisher nur das Leben im Tierheim kennen. Sie möchten ihrem Wesen entsprechend gefordert und gefördert werden.
