Calvin was rehomed to a couple from an animal shelter in Portugal when he was a very young puppy. Due to a separation, he was now returned to the shelter. Currently, Calvin is again living in this animal shelter in Portugal, and we now wish to find him a loving home where he not only finds a place but also truly belongs. Calvin is still a bit insecure at the beginning. One can sense that he has not had the chance to learn much in his young life and that some experiences and security are missing. At the same time, he is a sensitive, finely tuned, and very affectionate dog who, with a little patience and loving companionship, quickly shows what a wonderful companion lies within him. If he is given peace, reliability, and time, he begins to trust and opens up cautiously.
