Pepsi-2

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 2 months

Country of origin: Hungary Little, charming Pepsi was lucky in misfortune when kind people found him alone and abandoned in Kecskemét on July 14, 2026, and brought him to the shelter. Hardly born, he was already unwanted and had to experience the darker sides of life. We strongly suspect that Pepsi was deliberately abandoned, as no one missed him. He really shouldn't have spent his childhood in a shelter. Now, Pepsi is waiting “behind bars” for loving people who will accompany him on his further journey through life, support him, and give him a wonderful “forever home.” Pepsi is a sweet, nice, and friendly puppy who is still a bit shy and insecure. But if you speak kindly to him and give him some time and attention, he’ll slowly open up, revealing an increasingly curious and lively little dog—though he simply needs a bit of patience. Of course, this little guy is still very inexperienced and will need to learn all the basics of doggy life at the right time. He’s starting to enjoy petting and attention—and he’ll never want to miss them again. His new two-legged companions should take pleasure in patiently teaching him everything step by step with love, and they should be fully aware of the work, responsibility, and time commitment involved in raising a young four-legged friend. Pepsi would love to go on adventures with his people and spend many wonderful hours together. He gets along great with other dogs of his own age. For our dearest Pepsi-2, we’re looking for loving and understanding dog lovers who’ll welcome him into their family forever. He needs age- and dog-appropriate activities; he wants to be challenged and encouraged—but only once he’s settled down comfortably. In addition, he’ll need lots of cuddle sessions, plenty of play and fun, dog training classes, wonderful walks, and sufficient quiet time. Then Pepsi can leave his past behind forever and start off into a happy future. Anyone who gives this young fellow their time and love will gain a loyal companion for life. Who has a free spot for Pepsi? Currently, Pepsi is still too young for neutering; this must be arranged by the new owners when he’s old enough. His final size is estimated at 35–45 cm, and his final weight at 7–13 kg. As of July 30, 2026, Pepsi measures 17 cm and weighs 1.6 kg. Pepsi can travel from around the end of September 2026, once he’s found a permanent home or a foster placement.

About Pepsi-2

What life with Pepsi-2 looks like

Pepsi-2 is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pepsi-2, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pepsi-2?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pepsi-2 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pepsi-2 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pepsi-2 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pepsi-2 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pepsi-2 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
