Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

My name is Anneliese. I am female, vaccinated, microchipped, and born in 2019. I have been waiting again for a new home since July 2021. I am approximately 70 cm tall. My caretakers say about me: Anneliese is once again on the search for a new home due to a tragic story. If you are seriously interested, we would be happy to share Anneliese's history with you. We especially welcome breed-experienced potential owners. Anneliese is young and full of energy, always in a good mood, and very loyal to her trusted people. Some light insecurities in handling with men are still present and need to be trained. Similarly, regular vet visits should be established, but with good behavior, Anneliese can behave very well. The alone staying needs to be practiced further, as well as the leash walking and basic obedience. Since Anneliese enjoys affection and attention, a visit to the dog training classes will be a real joy. Anneliese masters car rides and excursions of any kind bravely. In the last home, Anneliese showed to be very social on walks with fellow animals. She should be allowed to be an individual princess with much contact to fellow animals in the new home or a second dog to an educated male dog of similar caliber. Due to her breed, a house with a garden in rural or suburban surroundings is preferred. At home and with the family, she will typically well guard the house and family without being unnecessarily aggressive. We also hope for the new owners to have a positive impact on Anneliese. Anneliese has known the handling with children since she was young, and with the necessary caution, children pose no problem. Ideally, these are already stable and enthusiastic playmates for Anneliese. Who would like to share a life motto with Anneliese in the future: Carpe Diem….Live. Love. Laugh….?????.

Lieben. Lachen….?????

About Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211

What life with Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 looks like

Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Schkortitz in Grimma.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Schkortitz handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Schkortitz will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cane Corsa Anneliese &#8211 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
