Da ihre Halterin wieder berufstätig ist und Canela nicht dauerhaft alleine bleiben kann, sucht sie ein neues Zuhause. Seit Mitte Oktober 2026 lebt sie auf einer Pflegestelle in Günzburg. In der Wohnung verhält sie sich ruhig, bleibt in ihrem Körbchen und bellt nicht bei Geräuschen im Treppenhaus oder Begegnungen mit anderen Hunden. Canela ist eine liebe und treue Hündin, die Nähe und Streicheleinheiten sehr genießt. Sie lässt sich bürsten und streicheln, ohne aufdringlich zu sein oder an ihren Bezugspersonen zu kleben. Draußen läuft sie leinenführig, orientiert sich an ihrer Bezugsperson und zeigt sich unbeeindruckt von Straßenverkehr, Zügen oder Aufzügen. Sie verträgt sich mit Artgenossen und Kindern und geht gern ein bis zwei Stunden spazieren. Besonderheiten: Canela reagiert ängstlich bis panisch auf Gewitter, Feuerwerk und laute Geräusche.
