Therefore, they will only be placed together. We wish for Carlson and Nikki a beautiful, appropriate home with a suitable pigeon loft where they can live together permanently. Pigeons are very social animals and should not be kept alone. In addition to sufficient space to fly and move, they need a protected, dry and well-ventilated pigeon loft with sufficient seating and resting places as well as suitable nesting options. Optimal is a keeping where the pigeons have daily enough movement and flight possibilities. The pigeon loft should be protected from weather, drafts and predators and at the same time allow good air circulation. Cleanliness and hygiene are also important: faeces and dirt should be removed regularly, food and drinking vessels kept clean and the entire accommodation regularly checked and cleaned. A balanced supply with suitable pigeon feed, constantly available fresh water as well as grit and minerals is also part of good pigeon keeping. Depending on the type of keeping, care should also be taken to ensure safe access to the outdoor area. We are therefore looking for people who enjoy these special animals and give them a forever home.

Deshalb werden sie ausschließlich gemeinsam vermittelt. Für Carlson und Nikki wünschen wir uns ein schönes, artgerechtes Zuhause mit einem geeigneten Taubenschlag, in dem sie dauerhaft zusammenleben können. Tauben sind sehr soziale Tiere und sollten nicht einzeln gehalten werden. Neben ausreichend Platz zum Fliegen und Bewegen benötigen sie einen geschützten, trockenen und gut belüfteten Taubenschlag mit ausreichend Sitz- und Ruheplätzen sowie geeigneten Nistmöglichkeiten. Optimal ist eine Haltung, bei der die Tauben täglich ausreichend Bewegungs- und Flugmöglichkeiten haben. Der Taubenschlag sollte vor Witterung, Zugluft und Fressfeinden geschützt sein und gleichzeitig eine gute Luftzirkulation ermöglichen. Sauberkeit und Hygiene sind ebenfalls wichtig: Kot und Verschmutzungen sollten regelmäßig entfernt, Futter- und Trinkgefäße sauber gehalten und die gesamte Unterkunft regelmäßig kontrolliert und gereinigt werden. Auch eine ausgewogene Versorgung mit geeignetem Taubenfutter, ständig verfügbarem frischem Wasser sowie Grit und Mineralien gehört zu einer guten Taubenhaltung. Je nach Haltungsform sollte außerdem auf einen sicheren Zugang zum Außenbereich geachtet werden.
