Our clinic vet was on a spay/neuter mission in Sardinia again in May 2026. One of the dogs to be neutered was the friendly, still somewhat shy Carmelino. And Marco had a special request for proTier: he wanted them to find a home for Carmelino. Of course, our clinic vet agreed right away, because the dog was very lovable and friendly, and there was no reason to deny help. Carmelino had just arrived at the our shelter not long ago. German tourists found the poor little thing on a nearby beach, where he was desperately searching for food. Who knows how long he had gone without food and how long he had been on the move, because he was emaciated and his fur was dull and matted. Of course, Carmelino will now get good food, and he will surely recover from the hardships he endured. And we want to give Carmelino the chance to find a really beautiful home with loving people in Germany, where he can be happy with a close family bond. As soon as the legal requirements allow, Carmelino will be allowed to embark on his journey. Would you like to give Carmelino his dream home? Unsere Vereinstierärztin war im Mai 2026 ja wieder mal für eine Kastrationsaktion auf Sardinien. Einer der Hunde, der kastriert werden sollte, war der freundliche, noch etwas schüchterne Carmelino. Und für ihn hatte Marco dann auch eine spezielle Bitte, und zwar, dass proTier für ihn ein Zuhause suchen solle. Natürlich sagte unsere Tierärztin auch sogleich zu, denn zum einen zeigte sich der Hund als sehr liebenswert und freundlich. Und zum anderen hätte es ja auch gar keinen Grund gegeben, unsere Hilfe zu versagen.Carmelino war erst kurz zuvor im Rifugio angekommen. Deutsche Touristen hatten das arme Kerlchen an einem Strand in der Nähe gefunden, wo er verzweifelt auf der Suche nach Futter war. Wer weiß, wie lange er schon nichts mehr gefunden hatte und wie lange er schon unterwegs war, denn er war klapperdürr und sein Fell stumpf und struppig.Natürlich bekommt Carmelino nun gutes Futter und er wird sich auch sicherlich bald von den Strapazen, die er erleiden musste, erholen. Und wir möchten Carmelino die Chance geben, ein wirklich schönes Zuhause bei lieben Menschen in Deutschland zu finden, bei denen er bei engem Familienanschluss glücklich werden kann.Sobald es die gesetzlichen Vorgaben erlauben, soll Carmelino seine Reise antreten dürfen.
