Caro, born approximately 2021, spayed, approximately 55 cm shoulder height, in the shelter since 2021 Caro is a timid dog, but not panicked. We took her as a puppy from one of the public animal shelters, as she would not have survived there. Since then, she has lived with a group of dogs in the back of the shelter. She knows nothing except this place, and even if you like to say easily that such dogs are unadoptable and happier in the shelter, it is unfortunately not so simple. The constant barking and changing weather mean constant stress, and many of the long-term residents gradually deteriorate over time. We wish for her a home with empathetic and experienced people who can show her what a good dog life is in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay if she never wants to go for a walk or cuddle like a normal dog. Maybe she will be good for one or more positive surprises. At least a confident first dog, as well as a securely fenced garden with direct access to the house are basic requirements. Since Caro has only poor adoption chances, we would be very happy if someone takes a sponsorship for her. Located currently in Romania and allowed to travel out if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 06/2025 Futterpatenschaft: - Tierarztpatenschaft: - Caro, geboren ca. 2021, kastriert, ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2021 Caro ist eine ängstliche Hündin, die aber nicht panisch ist. Wir haben sie als Welpe aus einem der öffentlichen Tierheime geholt, da sie dort nicht überlebt hätte. Seitdem lebt sie mit einer Gruppe Hunde im hinteren Teil des Shelters. Sie kennt nichts außer diesen Ort und auch, wenn man gerne leicht daher sagt, dass solche Hunde unvermittelbar und glücklicher im Shelter sind, ist es leider nicht so einfach. Das permanente Gebelle und das wechselhafte Wetter bedeuten Dauerstress und viele der Langzeitinsassen bauen mit der Zeit stark ab. Wir wünschen uns für sie ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihr in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte okay sein, wenn sie nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist sie dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Mindestens ein souveräner Ersthund, sowie ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus sind Grundvoraussetzungen. Da Caro nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für sie übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
