Catone e Piccarda

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten

Two beautiful tiger-striped siblings, male and female. Vaccinated and microchipped. NOT yet tested for FIV and FeLV. Character: Catone is a very sociable and cuddly kitten while his sister is more shy and reserved. They love to play and are especially big foodies. Ideal adoption: For Catone and Piccarda we are looking for a couple adoption in a quiet family setting, with people who have time to devote to care, cuddles and play. The presence of children is welcome, as long as they are educated and respectful of the animal's spaces. We positively consider homes with a secure garden, where they can only go out at a later time: it is in fact essential an initial period of adaptation strictly at home, necessary to allow them to settle in and acquire the right reference points. For cats that have access to the outside, we always recommend the use of a safety collar (with anti-strangle system that releases in case of traction) equipped with an identification tag. Adoption area: Only province of Monza and Brianza and strictly adjacent municipalities. Origin: Concorezzo (MB)

Generalità: Due bellissimi fratellini tigrati, maschio e femmina. Vaccinati e microchippati. Provenienza: Concorezzo (MB)

About Catone e Piccarda

What life with Catone e Piccarda looks like

Catone e Piccarda is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at ENPA Monza e Brianza in Monza.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Catone e Piccarda, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Catone e Piccarda?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Monza e Brianza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Catone e Piccarda on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Catone e Piccarda if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Monza e Brianza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Catone e Piccarda already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Catone e Piccarda isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Monza e Brianza early rather than rehoming privately; they know Catone e Piccarda and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
