Adopt Cenia

Female

Cenia and her siblings were been born in kennels after their heavily pregnant mum was rescued from the streets. They have grown up in kennels and Cenia has never had a real home, but she has always been showered with love and made lots of doggy and human friends there. Cenia is the largest of the siblings and we would say she is a large size dog. Though she is bigger in size, she is calmer then her sisters but still quite a playful girl. Cenia has no idea how big she is and can hop and jump up to greet you and shower you with love. She is not suitable to live with younger children because of this reason. She gets on amazing well with other dogs and would benefit from living with another placid and friendly dog, in a rural / semi-rural area. Cenia is spayed.

About Cenia

What life with Cenia looks like

Cenia is a medium-sized adult dog waiting at Strays Without Borders in Skopje.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country β€” confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cenia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cenia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Strays Without Borders handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cenia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cenia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Strays Without Borders will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cenia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cenia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Strays Without Borders early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cenia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
