Adopt Rosalinda

Female

Background Rosalinda was rescued after being dumped on the streets by hunters once the hunting season was over. She was barely moving, her body was covered in crusts and was in a very poor condition, to the point that we were doubtful if she would make it at all. Once she was moved to kennels and was treated for her condition, she made a full recovery and has been doing amazingly well ever since. Likes Rosalinda has a very cheerful personality, loves cuddles and chasing balls. She is energetic and would enjoy quality outdoor time. She is good with other dogs and children. Dislikes and issues Rosalinda tends to chase cats, so a home without resident cats is recommended. Ideal Home Outgoing adopter or adoptive family, who have patience to work with her while she settles. She will need to be house trained, as she has never lived in a home before. Rosalinda is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

About Rosalinda

What life with Rosalinda looks like

Rosalinda is a medium-sized adult dog waiting at Strays Without Borders in Skopje.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rosalinda, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rosalinda?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Strays Without Borders handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rosalinda on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rosalinda if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Strays Without Borders will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rosalinda already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rosalinda isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Strays Without Borders early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rosalinda and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
