He was entrusted to a family who quickly became frightened of him. The children were teasing him, and one day he growled at one of them. He was then taken to the veterinarian for a behavioral euthanasia at… 2 and a half months old. Thanks to the veterinarian and to Maëlle, his educator and foster family who took him in, he was saved and worked with. He has made tremendous progress! He no longer shows any resource guarding at all and turns out to be a curious young dog who thirsts for adventure 😃 He is now much more comfortable with strangers and in urban environments. He is comfortable in the car, he is house-trained, he does not destroy things when he has his enrichment toys, and he has a good recall. We will just add one small caveat about very young children, with whom he is not very comfortable because of his history. He has discovered scent activities, which he enjoys greatly; it would be wonderful if a mantrailing enthusiast fell in love with him :) He is truly a FAN of cuddles, and of the humans who come with them, and a canine companion would be a plus as well. He is still a young dog full of wonderful qualities who deserves more than anything to find his family, with whom he can go on long walks, cuddle, play games, and perhaps even work. - OK with dogs - OK with cats - OK with horses, goats, cows… - OK for nice outings - OK for work (initial training and mantrailing detection completed) - OK with people, but we would prefer a family without young children given his past ©2021 by L'odyssée d'Argos. Association de protection animale respectueuse Accueil Nos chiens Nos conditions d'adoption Les événements Contribuer Âge : 11 mois Localisation : 46 - Lot Statut : A l'adoption Sexe : Mâle Charlie , c'est ce petit chiot âgé de seulement quelques jours retrouvé dans une poubelle avec ses frères et sœurs. Il a été confié à une famille qui en a vite pris peur. Les enfants l'embêtaient et il a un jour grogné sur l'un d'entre eux. Il a donc été amené chez le vétérinaire pour une euthanasie comportementale à … 2 mois et demi. Grâce au vétérinaire et à Maëlle son éducatrice et famille d'accueil qui l'a recueilli , il a pu être sauvé et travaillé. Il a énormément progressé ! Il ne fait plus du tout de protection de ressource et se révèle être un jeune chien curieux qui a soif d'aventures 😃 Il est maintenant bien plus à l'aise avec les inconnus et en milieu urbain. II est à l'aise en voiture , il est propre , il ne détruit pas s'il a ses jouets d'occupation , il a un bon rappel. Nous mettrons juste un petit bémol sur les enfants en bas âge avec lesquels il n'est pas très à l'aise en raison de son histoire. Il a découvert les activités de flair qui lui plaisent beaucoup , ce serait génial si un adepte de mantrailing craquait pour lui:) Il est vraiment FAN des câlins , des humains qui vont avec et un compagnon canin serait un plus également. C'est toujours un jeune chien bourré de qualités qui mérite plus que tout de trouver sa famille avec qui faire de grandes promenades , des câlins , des parties de jeu et peut-être même travailler. - Ok chiens - Ok chats - Ok chevaux , chèvres , vaches ... - Ok pour de belles balades - Ok pour le travail ( Débourrages mantrailing et détection effectués )- Ok humains , mais on préfèrera une famille sans jeunes enfants compte tenu de son passé ©2021 par L'odyssée d'Argos.
