His story: Checker has been waiting and waiting and waiting… Why hasn't anyone fallen in love with the sweet little dog yet? It's really time for our scruffy little guy! Over 5 years ago, we reserved him, and he is still in a nearby pension in Baia Mare. Unfortunately, he has never received a suitable request. ☹ We are sure that the cute little guy will thaw out relatively quickly, and someone will find a lifelong friend in Checker. The life on the streets seemed to have shaped him, because when he arrived, he was reserved. But that was a long time ago. Now, if one of his caretakers comes to him, he gets very excited and goes out with them willingly. Checker is still active and fit, as you can see in the video. With strangers, he hesitates briefly, but after a short pause, he approaches curiously. Checker gets along well with his fellow animals and also walks nicely on a leash. Checker has not yet experienced life as a family dog. Therefore, he is looking for people who will give him time to adjust and will lovingly and patiently teach him what he needs to know. The nice Checker wants to finally learn what it means to be cared for and loved. He has waited long enough and would be grateful for a nice life. A confident only dog could help him with the adjustment.

Seine Geschichte: Checker wartet und wartet und wartet… Warum verliebt sich denn niemand in den süßen Hundekerl? Für unseren Wuschelbuben wird es nun wirklich Zeit! Vor über 5 Jahren haben wir ihn reserviert und noch immer befindet er sich in einer Pension in der Nähe von Baia Mare. Leider bekam er noch nie eine passende Anfrage. ☹ Wir sind uns ganz sicher, dass der hübsche Bub relativ schnell auftauen und man in Checker einen Freund für´s Leben finden wird. Das Leben auf der Straße schien ihn geprägt zu haben, denn als er ankam, war er zurückhaltend. Doch das liegt lange zurück. Kommt jetzt einer seiner Pfleger zu ihm, freut er sich wie Bolle und geht sehr gerne mit ihm raus. Checker ist noch aktiv und fit, wie man auf dem Video sehen kann. Bei fremden Menschen zögert er kurz, doch nach kurzer Bedenkzeit nimmt er neugierig Kontakt auf. Checker versteht sich gut mit seinen Artgenossen und auch an der Leine läuft er auch ganz ordentlich. Das Leben als Familienhund kennt Checker noch nicht. Daher sucht er Menschen, die ihm Zeit zum Ankommen geben und ihm liebevoll und geduldig beibringen, was er wissen muss. Der nette Checker möchte endlich auch erfahren, was es heißt, umsorgt und geliebt zu werden. Er hat lange genug gewartet und wäre sicher dankbar für einen schönen Lebensabend.
