Ciccetto e Tigrotto

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten

Two adorable little brothers with gray/hazelnut tabby fur. They are vaccinated, microchipped, and have received anti-parasite treatments. Not yet tested for FIV and FeLV. Character: Ciccetto is initially a bit shy, but it doesn't take long for him to gain trust. Once won over, he becomes a real purring tractor: he loves cuddles, lets himself be petted and picked up calmly, always respecting his own time and as long as he wants. He is a sweet, affectionate cat very attached to the people he forms a trusting relationship with. Tigrotto arrived very scared, 15 days after his brother. He began to gain trust with the help of Ciccetto. He is a more diffident and independent cat. He needs more time to get to know and trust people, but when he feels safe, he starts to let himself be petted, always choosing the time and manner of the contact. He has a bit of a "stubborn" streak and loves to maintain a certain autonomy. If he feels scared or insecure, he can hiss and, rarely, give a few paw (without claws) to communicate his discomfort. This is simply a defense mechanism, not aggression: a sort of "warning." Both Ciccetto and Tigrotto are great playful cats. They would spend all day playing, both with each other and with a straw and other toys that stimulate their hunting instinct. They play gently with people, without overdoing it with claws and teeth, and use the litter box and scratching post correctly. Ideal adoption: We are looking for a couple adoption for Ciccetto and Tigrotto, so they can continue to grow together, maintaining the strong bond that unites them. Given their young age, they need a family that can dedicate time, attention, and many opportunities for play, essential for balanced and serene growth. They are also suitable for people with their first experience with a cat, as long as they are aware of the needs of two kittens. In the presence of children, it is important that they are respectful, adequately supervised, and able to understand the kittens' rest times and need for tranquility. We remind you that Tigrotto, having been alone longer than Ciccetto, is more timid than his brother and requires more patience and gentleness. A context with the possibility of access to a garden, once sterilized and after acquiring adequate territorial and relational reference points, would certainly be an added value. Adoptable exclusively in the province of Monza and Brianza and in the strictly adjacent municipalities. Origin: Recovered in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI): first Ciccetto and, after further research lasting two weeks, his brother Tigrotto. They spent some weeks at the home of one of our volunteers at the Asilo dei Cuccioli ENPA Monza. Now they are vaccinated and ready to find their family.

About Ciccetto e Tigrotto

What life with Ciccetto e Tigrotto looks like

Ciccetto e Tigrotto is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at ENPA Monza e Brianza in Monza.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ciccetto e Tigrotto, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ciccetto e Tigrotto?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Monza e Brianza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ciccetto e Tigrotto on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ciccetto e Tigrotto if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Monza e Brianza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ciccetto e Tigrotto already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ciccetto e Tigrotto isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Monza e Brianza early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ciccetto e Tigrotto and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
