Cindy, a charming dog, was given this name at the shelter, following the motto: new life, new name. She arrived at the shelter on August 11, 2026, as a surrendered dog. Her owner had two dogs, and one of them had to be euthanized at the shelter due to illness. The owner did not want to take Cindy home alone and left her with the shelter veterinarian, so he could take her to the shelter and find a new family for her. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this will only be a short stop in her life and she will quickly find her ticket to happiness. It seems Cindy did not have a bad time with her former owner. She was well-groomed, chipped, but not vaccinated, not spayed/neutered, and suffered from an ear infection, which has been treated and is now a thing of the past. She also lacks a few teeth. Cindy is a sweet, nice, and friendly dog, a bit shy and reserved at first. Cindy is quite unsettled and stressed in her new environment, which is totally understandable. She urgently needs her own quiet home where she can receive a lot of love and attention and be allowed to relax. Cindy wants to go on great adventures with her new people and explore the big, wide world out there, step by step. The leash is not yet familiar to her, but practice makes perfect, and it's working out quite well now. She still needs to go to school and learn the dog alphabet. Even though she is a small dog, the same rules apply to her as to her larger counterparts. She does not want to be seen as a souvenir, but as a real four-legged friend with all her needs. She will quickly understand what is expected of her if she is lovingly guided. Cindy gets along well with her fellow dogs and is currently (September 24, 2026) being integrated into a pack. We are looking for loving and empathetic dog friends who will let Cindy arrive without any demands. They will then provide her with dog-appropriate exercise and a varied and exciting life as a beloved family dog. Where she can go on discovery tours and finally get all the love, security, comfort, and care she is missing right now and where she can lead a happy and fulfilling life. Ursprungsland: Ungarn Die bezaubernde Cindy, diesen Namen hat sie im Menhely bekommen, getreu nach dem Motto: neues Leben, neuer Name, kam am 11.8.2026 als Abgabehündin ins Tierheim. Ihr Besitzer hatte wohl 2 Hunde und einer davon musste in der Privatpraxis des Tierheims, krankheitshalber eingeschläfert werden. Der Besitzer wollte Cindy aber nicht mehr alleine nach Hause nehmen und überliess sie dem Tierheimtierarzt, damit er sie ins Tierheim mitnehmen kann und man dort eine neue Familie für sie suchen kann. Wir drücken ihr fest die Daumen, dass dies nur eine kurze Zwischenstation in ihrem Leben bleiben wird und sie ganz schnell ihr Ticket ins Glück lösen darf. Ganz schlecht scheint es Cindy bei ihrem ehemaligen Menschen nicht gehabt zu haben Sie war gepflegt, gechipt, jedoch nicht geimpft, nicht kastriert und sie litt an einer Ohrenentzündung, welche behandelt wurde und nun der Vergangenheit angehört. Ebenso fehlen ihr ein paar Zähne. Cindy ist eine liebe, nette und freundliche Hündin, am Anfang etwas schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Cindy ist in ihrer neuen Umgebung recht verunsichert und gestresst, was auch total verständlich ist. Sie braucht dringend wieder ein eigenes, ruhiges Zuhause, wo man ihr viel Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit schenkt und sie zur Ruhe kommen lässt. Cindy möchte mit ihren neuen Menschen tolle Ausflüge unternehmen und die grosse, weite Welt da draussen erkunden, alles Step by Step. Die Leine ist ihr noch nicht so geheuer, aber Übung macht bekanntlich den Meister, respektive die Meisterin und es klappt mittlerweile schon recht gut. Sie muss noch etwas die Schulbank drücken und das Hunde-ABC lernen. Auch wenn sie eine kleine Hündin ist, gelten für sie die gleichen Regeln, wie für ihre grossen Artgenossen. Sie möchte nicht als Souvenir angesehen werden, sondern als richte Vierbeinerin, mit all ihren Bedürfnissen. Sie wird bestimmt schnell verstehen, was man von ihr möchte, wenn man sie liebevoll anleitet. Mit ihren Artgenossen versteht sich Cindy gut und wird aktuell (24.9.2026) in ein Rudel integriert. Für unsere allerliebste Cindy suchen wir liebe und einfühlsame Hundefreunde, welche Cindy in Ruhe und ohne Anforderungen an sie zu stellen, ankommen lassen. Sie dann zu gegebener Zeit hundegerecht auslasten und ihr ein abwechslungsreiches und spannendes Leben als geliebte Familienhündin bieten.
