The truth is... our two-leggeds should have kept a closer eye on us. The planned castration, however, was unfortunately put on hold – and before we knew it, we had our little daughter Mochi. To be honest? We were still almost kids ourselves and suddenly we were parents! Despite our unplanned family addition, we actually had it pretty good together. But then the Catopa came back from his world trip. He brought back many stories from far away... and unfortunately also a pretty intense cat hair allergy. No matter how much our humans loved us – suddenly every whisker became a challenge. Reluctantly, we had to leave our home and moved to the cat shelter of the Halleiner Animal Shelter. That was of course initially sad for us, but here everyone takes particularly good care of us. I need some time to build trust. I prefer to observe carefully from a safe distance before I open up. But if I realize that you mean me well, then I am more than happy to show my cuddly side and enjoy every loving pat. So far, I have only lived in the apartment, but I could definitely imagine exploring the outside world a little bit someday – of course only if everything is safe and I feel comfortable. Vaccinated, microchipped, and now also neutered, I am already. Now I just need one thing: a loving forever home where I can finally belong – and I know it is almost unimaginable – but the most beautiful thing would be if my family could stay together.

Die Tja … hätten unsere Zweibeiner damals nur besser aufgepasst. Die geplante Kastration wurde nämlich leider verschwitzt – und ehe wir überhaupt richtig erwachsen waren, brachte ich schon unsere kleine Tochter Mochi zur Welt. Ganz ehrlich? Wir waren selbst noch fast Kinder und auf einmal Eltern! Trotz unseres ungeplanten Familienzuwachses hatten wir es eigentlich richtig schön miteinander. Doch dann kam der Katzenopa von seiner Weltreise zurück. Er brachte viele Geschichten aus der Ferne mit … und leider auch eine ziemlich heftige Katzenhaarallergie. So sehr uns unsere Menschen mochten – plötzlich wurde jedes Schnurrhaar zur Herausforderung. Schweren Herzens mussten wir unser Zuhause verlassen und zogen schließlich im Katzenhaus des Halleiner Tierheims. Das war natürlich erstmal traurig für uns, aber hier kümmern sich alle besonders gut um uns. Ich brauche anfangs ein bisschen Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Ich beobachte lieber erst vorsichtig aus sicherer Entfernung, bevor ich mich öffne. Aber wenn ich merke, dass man es gut mit mir meint, dann zeige ich sehr gerne meine verschmuste Seite und genieße jede liebevolle Streicheleinheit. Bisher habe ich nur in der Wohnung gelebt, könnte mir aber durchaus vorstellen, irgendwann auch die Welt draußen ein bisschen zu erkunden – natürlich nur, wenn alles sicher ist und ich mich wohlfühle. Geimpft, gechippt und inzwischen auch kastriert bin ich schon. Jetzt fehlt mir nur noch eines: ein liebevolles Für-immer-Zuhause, in dem ich endlich ankommen darf - und ich weiß es ist fast unvorstellbar - aber am schönsten wäre natürlich, wenn meine Familie zusammen bleiben dürfte.
