Cody wurde Weihnachten 2025 von unserer rumänischen Tierschützerin auf der Straße gefunden. Schnell war klar, dass er dringend Hilfe brauchte. Schon auf den ersten Blick fiel auf, dass Cody nur auf zwei Beinen läuft. Seine rechte Vorderpfote und die linke Hinterpfote sind vermutlich durch die eisigen Wintertemperaturen erfroren. Beim Tierarzt zeigte sich jedoch schnell, dass dies nicht sein einziges Problem war: Cody litt zusätzlich an akutem Nierenversagen. Wochenlang kämpfte unsere Tierschützerin um sein Leben – mit viel Liebe, Geduld und Fürsorge. Inzwischen hat sich der alte Rüde glücklicherweise stabilisiert, sodass wir nun für ihn ein liebevolles Zuhause suchen dürfen. Cody zeigt sich auf seiner rumänischen Pflegestelle als ruhiger, genügsamer und sehr sozialer Hund. Er versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden und auch Katzen sind für ihn kein Problem. Für Cody wünschen wir uns Menschen mit großem Herzen, die ihn genauso annehmen, wie er ist: ein lieber, ruhiger Senior, der sich nichts sehnlicher wünscht als Sicherheit, Geborgenheit und Vertrauen. Menschen, die keine Erwartungen an ihn stellen, sondern ihm einfach einen schönen und liebevollen Lebensabend schenken möchten. Natürlich sollte auch die Bereitschaft vorhanden sein, ihn medizinisch gut zu versorgen. Aufgrund seiner Behinderung werden große Spaziergänge mit Cody nicht möglich sein. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für ihn idealerweise ein Zuhause mit Garten, in dem er sich frei bewegen, die Sonne genießen und jederzeit Ruhepausen einlegen kann. Auch regelmäßige Physiotherapie würde Cody vermutlich guttun und ihn zusätzlich unterstützen.
