Conny, female Poodle for adoption at Many Tears Animal Rescue, Llanelli

About Conny

18-04-26 Conny is a shy little lady who has come to us from a breeder and can be quite sensitive. She isn’t overly confident and can find new situations a little overwhelming, so she will need a calm and understanding home where she can feel safe. Conny will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home, as she takes great comfort from other dogs and will rely on them to help her settle in and build her confidence. As she has never lived in a home before, Conny will need patient adopters who can gently guide her through all the basics, including house training and learning how to walk on a lead. She may take a little time to adjust, but with reassurance and consistency, she will begin to flourish. Conny could live with dog savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving her space and being gentle with her as she settles in. Despite her shyness, she is a very sweet and friendly girl who enjoys affection once she feels comfortable. Conny is looking for a loving and patient home that will give her the time and support she needs, in return, she will grow into a loyal and affectionate companion. Conny has come to us with infected ears, which are being treated. Our vets have also noted that she has Grade 2 luxating patella in her left hind leg, this may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle. Conny has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
